What Is Fiberglass Anti-Slip Step Nosing?
The front edge of a stair receives frequent foot traffic and may become worn, smooth or difficult to see. Wet conditions, dust, oil residue and outdoor exposure can further affect footing.
FRP anti-slip stair nosing provides an abrasive grit surface at this critical area. It helps users identify the edge of each step while improving underfoot traction during normal access.
The product can be installed on suitable existing stairs without replacing the complete staircase, subject to an assessment of the stair condition, substrate and fixing method.

Textured Anti-Slip Surface
The abrasive surface provides additional traction at the leading edge of the step, where users commonly place their feet.
High-Visibility
Contrasting safety yellow colour can make the edge of each step easier to identify in industrial and maintenance areas.
Retrofit Installation
The nosing can be fitted to suitable existing concrete, steel or timber steps using approved mechanical fasteners or adhesive.
Size Options
Available in standard or cut-to-length configurations, depending on stock and project requirements.
Installation Method
This fiberglass stair nosing is normally installed on the stair edge using strong adhesive and mechanical fixing such as screws, anchors, rivets or bolts, depending on whether the stair is concrete, metal, timber or grating. For industrial areas, we recommend adhesive plus mechanical fixing for better strength and stability.
